Baek Yisu and Baek Dogyeong, twin brothers, have led vastly different lives despite their identical faces. While Dogyeong has risen to become the boss of a criminal gang, Yisu works as a federal informant against his own twin’s organization. However, Yisu’s life takes a dramatic turn when he is betrayed by the gang and decides to assume his brother’s identity to infiltrate the organization as a federal agent.
As he delves deeper into the gang’s inner workings, Yisu realizes that this is not a simple case of good versus evil. He discovers that Dogyeong is not the ruthless leader he once believed him to be, but rather a man who is struggling to keep his organization afloat amidst a power struggle with rival gangs. Yisu’s conflicting loyalties are put to the test as he tries to balance his duty as a federal agent with his newfound sympathy for his brother’s plight.
Despite the danger and the constant threat of discovery, Yisu persists in his mission to take down the gang and bring his brother to justice. He uses his knowledge of the organization’s inner workings to gain the trust of key members and to uncover crucial information that could lead to its downfall. However, as he becomes more deeply involved in the gang’s activities, Yisu realizes that the line between good and evil is not always clear-cut, and that sometimes the only way to achieve justice is to make difficult choices.
In the end, Yisu’s mission is a success, but at a great personal cost. He must confront the truth about his own identity and the choices he has made, and come to terms with the fact that sometimes the only way to do what is right is to sacrifice everything you hold dear. As he looks back on his journey, Yisu understands that life is not like a manga, where the hero always triumphs and the lines between good and evil are clearly drawn. Instead, it is a complex and often messy journey, where the choices we make can have far-reaching consequences.
