Lee Chang-Son accepted his proposition. The god who was cast into the abyss would rise again as the player ‘Lee Chang-Son.’ He was determined to crush the gods responsible for his downfall.

“I have truly returned,” Lee Chang-Son declared

With Thanatos’ aid, Lee Chang-Son regained a portion of his lost divinity and godly abilities. Although not as formidable as before, he had enough power to enact his vengeance. Lee Chang-Son hid his identity and infiltrated the realm of the gods as a player. He slowly hunted down and defeated the deities who had betrayed him. Whenever a god was vanquished, Lee Chang-Son absorbed their divine essence and powers. His strength grew with each victory.

Meanwhile, Lee Chang-Son caught the eye of Athena, the goddess of wisdom. She saw through his disguise and confronted him about his true identity and motives. To his surprise, Athena offered her support. She had never approved of the unjust way the other gods had treated Lee Chang-Son. Together, they secretly strategized the defeat of more deities.

With Athena’s aid, Lee Chang-Son’s campaign of vengeance accelerated. Most of his betrayers had been crushed. Only Zeus, the king of gods, remained. In a climactic battle, Lee Chang-Son slew Zeus and claimed his throne. The age of the old gods had ended. Lee Chang-Son rebuilt the pantheon with new deities who pledged their allegiance to him.

His vengeance complete, Lee Chang-Son ruled over the new realm of gods as a wise and just king. Under his reign, the abyss that once housed lost souls transformed into a utopia. Lee Chang-Son’s return as a god was now complete. The darkness of betrayal and defeat had given way to a new dawn. This was the reality he had struggled to achieve.
